San Antonio de Areco is the spiritual capital of the gaucho — a perfectly preserved pampa town of colonial pulperías, master silversmiths and the great estancias where the criollo horse tradition endures. FFGR Argentina coordinates private days at the legendary estancias of the region, where you are received with an asado prepared over open coals, a display of horsemanship, and the unhurried hospitality of the Argentine countryside. We arrange visits to the Ricardo Güiraldes Gaucho Museum, to the ateliers of the master silversmiths whose mate gourds and facón knives are sought by collectors worldwide, and the celebrated Día de la Tradición festivities each November.
